Peace. Urbanism. Innovation.

Hi. My name is Bojan [Boy·yaan].

I work to reduce violence across the world and fix international mechanisms for peace. I am committed to making our cities more peaceful, innovative, and networked to tackle the present global challenges. I believe that we can create a better future for generations to come by accounting for their interests today and investing in foresight capacities.

Work with me

  • I have worked with individuals (from Mayors to Ministers, activists to CEOs), movements, and organizations wishing to leverage global networks and influence change in multilateral arena. I act as an honest broker and networker to the right high-impact opportunities, and enjoy high-trust as a coalition-builder.

I have organized and curated closed doors discussions, workshops, convened leading experts and thinkers to generate solutions to global problems, and created communities around shared global values..

  • I excel in interpreting evidence and trends, translating insights into strategies, and communicating with clarity and consistency. I am astute at predicting how bad the situation can get, and how great it can be while advising decision makers on the most effective ways to implement their public commitments.

I have a track record of scoping, conducting and commissioning research, writing speeches and thought pieces for Heads of State, Ambassadors and Ministry officials, and running advocacy campaigns with verve and efficiency.

  • I never fail to imagine alternatives into existence, and have experience turning advocacy priorities into appropriate action plans.

I have managed teams and projects across cultures, time zones and organizations, and have experience managing budgets, staffing, and contracts for the most efficient project/program delivery.

I have ten years of experience working with people and movements mobilizing for change in a hyper-local context and in multilateral environment.

I’ve conducted research and advised governments, foundations, and international organizations on policy directions, launched high-impact initiatives, and built international interest networks.

I have training in public management from the NYU Wagner School of Public Service, and am an active member of multiple professional and community-based organizations on minority rights, ethics in international affairs, and youth education.

I’m an alumnus of the next generation public leadership program, trained in foresight, and and a lifelong student of languages.

I am a regular guest lecturer at universities in the US and Canada, and commentator on UN affairs, peace, development, and future generations.

My values are shaped by my ‘outsider’ status and childhood spent in a multi- ethnic and confessional community in a region undergoing turbulent transition from conflict. My ambition is to improve existing global mechanisms to better advance peace, inclusion, and dialogue among people and across cultures and generations.
